DD (for all the kids) just asked me what I wanted for Mother's Day. She asked me in front of dh to make sure he heard it too. I'm assuming that they were hoping for the usual, "oh, don't worry, you don't have to get me anything..." No guilt since they didn't go out and spend any money. Not that I really care because I don't.
This time I said, "I want to be able to change my mind if I want to. I have as many mood swings as I want. I want all of you to do exactly what I say and NOT complain about it."
Let's see what really happens tomorrow. Will they give me what I want or did they not even pay attention to the answer because the tv was on? "What Mom? Did you say something???"
When my son was young this is exactly what I got on Mothers Day! From the time I woke up until I went to bed it was all about ME! I loved it!!!!
That is a really tough Mother's Day gift, lol. Let us know how that worked out for you.
