Hubby said yes if you can find somewhere free for us to stay
its a 6 hour road trip from up here in the north of England to the very bottom In Brighton
I was a little worried as we will have to take our girls aged 2 years and 10
Money is a little tight at the moment and as much as I would love to go I pointed this out to hubby
he said we have that sorted
I then upset him by pointing out that its not where we will stay But what we will wear
he said whats wrong with what you always wear??? Errr durrr?
I said people dress posh as if going to a garden party or a day at the races Not like their going shopping
I have had no new clothes since getting pregnant with my 2 year old my jeans are showing light where day light should never show!
But I don't complain
if we were to go I would like to think we would not show our son up turning looking like pickys gipyos
he just does not get it
jeans and tops with nasty shoes just does not work
Now I am upset hers upset gurrrrrr
I am now in bed will it is 12am here hes still sulking down there
he did not think this one out
I'm not current on places there (my grandparents haven't been there for years) but do you have thrift type stores or do you sew?
I understand not wanting to be underdressed but is it really that important? I would think your son would rather have you there in a pair of jeans and t shirt than not there at all.
call a girlfriend and borrow an out fit.... there is no shame in that. And I agree that you cant go to his graduation in thread bare jeans.
as for some place to stay for free... cant you stay with him?
and I am one of the biggist in my group of friends standing at almost 6ft
Search your closets ask someone from church ask your friends maybe they have someone in the family you could borrow from. Your presence is more important than a fancy outfit.
