Hi, I am a stay at home mom who is desperately trying to find friends to chat with on the phone. I feel really isolated since I am home all day. It would be nice to talk to a friend and share our day or any tips that help us in our daily life, PM me if you are interested. Thanks :)

Don't want to be negative Nelly here, but please please be careful. I was stalked and so was a very good friend of mine (many in here would know her if I put her screen name), by giving out personal private info such as phone #, address.Please be careful.

I am going to step in here as the group owner and say this..

First of all no one give out personal information until they are ready to and only on a PM.. My suggestion would be to private message each other and IM each other until you are comfortable talking on the phone.

I know we would love to sit and chat with our sisters but you have to establish a relationship with them first and get a feel for them. I have many that I chat with and many that I have met in person but it wasn't an overnight thing..

And DO NOT place your personal number in any post or information about yourself this is an open forum meaning all of CM can see it and anyone can google your screen name and get this information IF you post it!!!..

I will second Dana's comment. As we know the internet is not always the safest place. We here in 40ish strive to keep all our sisters safe. So please...for safety do this only after you have established a trusting relationship and privately. Always be cautious of posting personal information in any group/forum/web site despite the privacy of the site.
