What kind of job did you have growing up? Did you do it every summer or did you change each year?
I started working for my Nana in her craft store at a very young age, it taught me how to count and work with money..I spent part of my summers with her.
When I reached 15 you could work at Six Flags Over Texas and so I started in the Gifts dept. and remained there for 5 seasons which went from Summer's all week up until school starte till after Christmas for the weekends.

See Y'all in the Posts!

I did some cashiering when I was in high school and was a camp counselor in the summer. Then when I was in collage I started coaching gymnastics and continued to be a camp counselor in the summer.
My first job was for the Corps of Engineers as a summer aide. I had to keep the parks clean and that included bathrooms. Hated Monday mornings because of the heavy use of bathrooms over the weekend.
I was a waitress my senior year. Hated it, but it gave me extra spending money. Gas and such. And it also allowed me to buy new clothes and have money on our end of school trip.
ooh how neat, scary but neat lol

My dad used to hold big 200 person poker games and I served drinks all night. They were "illegal" but I made more money before I graduated high school than most people make in the 10 years after high school =)
how neat! My grandfather was a police chief and he took in the dogs as they retired up around his area in PA. They were such sweet "majestic" like dogs..they were german shepards that he had.

My first job was as a secretary for the maintenance dept at the VT State Police Academy. It was pretty cool too!!! I could watch them train the police dogs!
At age 10, I was picking green beans each summer untill about 15 when I started babysitting and picking chickens ( catching them to put on the trucks.).
I baby sat and when I was in Germany I also baby sat and then worked for the officers club and had a job working on post doing odd jobs such as painting the center lines on the road and making signs for buildings. I stayed busy because I like making money.... LOL.. I started babysitting when I was 11 (cousin)..
