I met my now hubby at a picnic, I told my friend thats a cutie over there and low and behold she told him and its been he and I ever since. I always deny that I hit on him first and most of the times when he gets on my nerves I ask myself Why? lol,
Fantastic Day Ladies...
I had been going out with this guy for 7 years and we had been having troubles for a year or so(more like he had troubles keeping his eyes and d**k to himself anyway) he was the singer for a band and the band practiced in the house where we lived.
breathe long sentence
Well they got a new Bass player and he saw me and told my ex " you should treat her better or someone will take her away" he said go ahead and 22 years later we are still together 15 year wedding aniversary this Sunday.
Do I sound like a groupie cliche??? DId I mention I was the only one gainfully/legealy employed in the band house.. HAHA Ah the crazy '80's-90's
I have the classic story, I married the boy next door. I was 18 years old when him and his family moved right next door to my family in 1985. It was him and I ever since. We married on April 8, 1989. Many years later with two teen daughters, I still love my baby :)
We met on a blind date that neither of us wanted to go on and only went to shut our mutual friend up. We were living together within 3 weeks and ahve been married 28 years next month.
SO and I met at the end of our freshman year of college. He didn't contact me over the summer, but in the fall we met up again and fell head over heels. We were together that entire year, got engaged, then the following year he went back to his first love (leaving me devastated and broken hearted) and eventually married her. We were both in long term unhappy marriages that finally ended in divorce. He said he'd been looking for me for almost 30 years when it finally dawned on him to look on the internet. He found me first through classmates and then FB. We started communicating via email and once we met again in real life we were both goners. I feared that maybe he wasn't the true love of my life the first go-round - that it was just infatuation that I'd mistaken for true love, but my heart remembered. I loved him then and I'm even more deeply in love with him now. I am so thankful he decided to look for me - and found me!
I was managing a grocery store and one of my cashiers was a friend of his. She knew that I was recently divorced and so was he. She called him on her break to come up to the store and meet me. We went out after I got off work that night and we have been together ever since. That was 14 years ago this September....
I met my husband in the hallway outside the office I was working in. I was heading out to lunch and he was finishing up a delivery. We walked out together and started talking. We kept talking in the parking lot. I spent my lunch hour talking to him. Then he did the obligatory three day wait to call. We got together the next day and went on a romantic date that was a roller coaster. We were married 4 months later. Here we are 16 1/2 years later....
The morning I was going to delete my online dating site account(I was getting nothing but loosers!) There was 1 email, I almost deleted, but read it, My DH and I emailed back and forth for almost a month, then met in person at a place where he wanted to hear an acoustic guitar player not to far from where I live.
(We lived 2 & 1/2 hrs from each other and both thought no way was this gonna happen) We have been together ever since! 4 yrs 6 mos, married 2 yrs this past june!
