I do. I have a 13 year old Burmese rescue cat and a muted calico rescue who is 9. Pets are great. They love you so much, never beat you or yell at you, okay they might be loud somethings but they sit with you, comfort you and just love you. Closest we ever come to unconditional love.
so sorry to hear about your loss. *hugs*
We had 2 cats once, both were found. Our dog Piper passed away last year and now we have Pickles puppy...both dogs were/are female Jack Russel's.
this was Noel & Casey
We had a seal point , half siamese cat that lived 14 years. Wow, was she smart and into everything causing all kinds of excitement but we loved it. Now we have one outdoor ( by choice) cat named Hobo and 5 dogs. Ollie the Daschund, Kayak a black Pom, Katiebree and Dritz are Shitzu's And Paco is a stray that we picked up, think he is part chihuahua and part Minpin.

Sort of a chimpmunk baby outside my window,
I had two seal points Mary. Max and Hamilton. They were half brothers around the same age. I loved these cats. Both have long since passed. They had some odd behaviors for cats though...and not your typical "talkers."
Currently I have 3 dogs and a very fat, lazy house cat. LOL
We have four cats: one gray, our old lady(Baby), she is about 13yrs. old. Another gray cat with long fur(Little Bit), she is about 7yrs.old. A black cat, with one white spot on her chest(Spooky), she is about 6yrs.old. And finally our orange short hair(Lea), we are not sure how old she is, she was an adult cat when my friend adopted her, but they couldn't keep her so the cat adopted my youngest. She stays in her room.
All of our cats are rescue cats, Baby was rescued from a family that was moving when she was a kitten, they were just going to let her into the mean cruel world. Little Bit, was rescued from a city trash can, when she was about four weeks old, she was just a little handful. Spooky was rescued in Upstate New York when Nyssa was living up there. Spooky was tossed out into the winter snow at three months old, Nyssa ran outside in shorts and t-shirt with no shoes on. Lea's story is above.
I always had pets as a child, Siamese were a family favorite.
