You guys, my mom put the Lawrence Welk Show on on Sunday evenings when she was finishing up dinner. I do the same sometimes and it's like eating homemade mac n cheese and mashed potatoes.

I'm hopeless, I know.  You long for a time when people didn't have sex on prime time TV.

That's what I think of the Mayberry kind of life.

Some money magazine recently named Ashville  ( or was it Charlotte?), NC the "Best Place To Live InThe US".

My kid, who's a techie  ( computer engineering / website development) said he's thinking of relocating to NC.

Mt. Airie has a Mayberry festival every year. Never been there.

Part of my heart has already relocated there.

I will always LOVE Mayberry.   (  :

Life in Mayberry is much more simple than the fast paced world we are living in today. I would love for things to go back to the "Mayberry Way".
