I'm new to this site and am excited to connect with others! I'm 44 years old and I'm starting to really feel my opportunity is coming to an end because of my age. Is there anybody out there in their middle 40's with babies? Is this even to old to get pregnant? Any thoughts/insights would be really helpful....

EMB...thanks for your post! I'm so worried that I'm getting too old, in terms of having a healthy baby! I'm scares but really want a baby! :). Maybe time to talk to the gynochologist...

Welcome! My thoughts on having a baby in your 40's should be okay as long as you are healthy. Make that call to the gyno!

Manilowgal...thanks for your reply! I really do think having a baby in my forties would be ok but I have to admit a piece of me is worried! I do feel that I'm financially set and able to provide a good life for a child but worried about complications due to age! Ugh...
