42 and trying, one last time to conceive........

I am 43 and 4 months pregnant.  I was not trying, just gave my body a break from hormones and decided to go off the pill for a while. I am still in shock, can't believe I am feeling little flutters in my stomach again when its been 22 years since my last baby.  The statistics are pretty grim for women our  age which is why I did not think I was gonna get pregnant so easily.  My advice is do not listen to the statistics!  Just relax and enjoy your husband and hopefully nature will take its course.   If your still having a period, you can still get pregnant. My MD told me more and more women are having babies at our age. I will say a little prayer for a blessing for you and your family :)

I got pregnant with our daughter at 43 and gave birth at 44.  Took LOTS of trying!  :)  Have fun.
