My 5th grader wants to dye a pink stripe in her hair for the first day of school - LoL

We let her do a big raspberry stripe in her hair this summer, it only stayed in for about 2 weeks, so I guess there is no harm in doing it for the first day of school (it is not a dress code violation).

I will try to post a photo later.

Thats great that you are allowing her to do that. Ive always believed in allowing self expression and experimenting. Supporting individuality.

WoW.... she wants her legs shaved AND is doing her nails.  I guess in her mind 5th grade is a coming of age grade.

As long as its not permanent, then it's fine. When they start at a you g age asking for tattoos and those god awful earthings, then that's another issue. bTW, have no issues with tattoos, but not at young AGRs!
