FHC1 made a post this summer about couch to 5K and wanting to eventually do a marathon..... anyone else interested?
I used to be in great shape, but have let myself go. Today I walked 3 miles and not only was very slow but could feel it in my body. HOWEVER, I will be doing a full marathon this spring. So who is with me???? Anyone?????
If you are interested make a goal. Find a race you want to do. Be reasonable, if you have never run your not going to do a marathon next week. But if you have never run there is no reason a marathon shouldnt be the goal... if you want.
So post what your goal race is: 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon, full marathon.... any or all of the above. All levels welcome.
Lets see how many are interested. Once we see how many are interested then we will start to set a reasonable time line for our goals.

cross country is a 5K right. Want to do a 5K this spring... or up it to a 10K or 1/2 marathon?

where do you live? Is your second a 10K too? I guess it is almost time for that 1/2 marathon.
