We have all engaged in eating when we are a bit blue. Well, I have discovered a wonderful term for that spare tire that results from all those treats we use to salve our damaged psyches. Kummerspeck. It is a German term that roughly translates to grief bacon. Gotta love those Germans. I am not fat ... I just have a little grief bacon.
