A mom I know recently brought her baby - about 6 months - over to my house with RSV. Another mom told me it's very serious and they wouldn't take out their kid if they had it. What do you think? I had never heard of RSV when my kids were babies.
It is dangerous for the baby.I would not have my little one out.My great niece was in the hospital with complications when she was about 4 months.I think it is best to keep them inside and not expose them to more germs or other viruses.
When my oldest dd had it several years ago, our dr made it very clear that we needed to limit taking her out. As she didn't need to be exposed to anything else. So we kept her home. We didn't even send her to daycare for several days.
Just wondering. I guess if the kid is on antibiotics, they're on the mend. Still, their poor immune systems! I think some moms feel their babies can handle anything. I don't think they can.

This is a new one on me. I never took any of my kids anywhere if they were sick.
