Are You An Empty Nester,Mom of teens,New Mom?

Posted by   + Show Post

What stage of motherhood are you in and what is home life like for you at this stage?

I am a mom of a teen and also an empty nester of my 20 year old who moved out last year.

Believe it or not I still feel life is chaotic and busy(despite having older kids)....

Im coasting and enjoying the ebb and flow of life as a mom for now.I am anticipating the calm in the near future.Like catching up on things I used to do.....if I can still do them...lol..

My 25 yr old DD is living on her own. My HS Senior is getting ready to go to college. I will soon be an "empty nester". I might have to get a few more cats.... LOL

I have a 9 year old daughter and a 24 yr old daughter who live with me (though I'm divorced, and my ex gets the 9 yr old one overnight per week and every other weekend), plus an almost 22 year old son who lives on his own. Life definitely feels hectic most of the time. Girl drama can be exhausting.

My daughters are all out on their own.  I really liked living alone.  My son moved back in with his family and I am more than ready for them to move out.

I have young children, ages 8, 6, 4, and 2. I guess that makes me a relatively new mom compared to many in here. :)
