fireplace! We have had an air inversion since last week, and there's a complete burn ban unless it's the only source of heat : (( Thankfully when my furnace went out a couple of weeks ago, the air was clean enough that I could build a fire and stay warm until the furnace tech was able to get here.

wow never heard of that before...we've had burn bans but never on the fireplaces... I'm so happy as we had on in our house but our last apt. didn't have one and I love love having a nice fire esp. on a rainy day or at night...
