mine were purple and I loved to wear them with my 3/4 sleeve rainbow shirt that hung off one shoulder.

I did when I was in school because we had uniforms and it was the thing back in the 80s. They were brown like my tan and brown uniform. What's funny is that I lived in South Florida but it used to get really cold there when I was younger. Nothing like today's weather.

I may have bought a pair but never really wore them because I'm so big they wouldn't fit over my calves!

Well, since I was a dancer, yes I owned and wore leg warmers in every color you could imagine. I don't think I ever wore them for anything but class, though.
