cooking this in a couple hours.... what are your thoughts on cooking all of this together at the same time????
I rarely cook with baccon.... so Im not sure about this.
brussle sprouts, whole garlic cloves pealed, and cut up baccon.
can I put it all in one tray raw, sprinkle with olive oil, s&p and cook at 475 together?
Although I have never cooked brussel sprouts I would say yes. Go for it.
Never cooked it but if I did that sounds like the right way.
475 seems a bit high.....when I cook bacon in the oven I set it at 400 and I would probably do the brussel sprouts even lower....was this a recipe ?????
My post might be a little too late. I've done this on top of the stove in a skillet. Fry the bacon enough to render most of the (ahem...) grease. Toss the rest in, add a little water and simmer until desired doneness. And, yes, I'm from the south.
