cooking this in a couple hours.... what are your thoughts on cooking all of this together at the same time????

I rarely cook with baccon.... so Im not sure about this.

brussle sprouts, whole garlic cloves pealed, and cut up baccon.

can I put it all in one tray raw, sprinkle with olive oil, s&p and cook at 475 together?

I always do the brussel sprouts that high.  What do you cook them at?

Quoting rojastarr:

475 seems a bit high.....when I cook bacon in the oven I set it at 400 and I would probably do the brussel sprouts even lower....was this a recipe ?????

I cut all the fat off.

Quoting mzbittle:

My post might be a little too late.  I've done this on top of the stove in a skillet.  Fry the bacon enough to render most of the (ahem...) grease.  Toss the rest in, add a little water and simmer until desired doneness.  And, yes, I'm from the south.

sorry, tell us how it works out when you get the chance to make it!  Sounds like something I'd like to try

I was a vegetarian for several years but I never found any substitute comparable to bacon. Now I show some restraint, but at times I'll occasionally toss in some pig.  It's a special treat.
