I need to get motivated. hubby gave me a deadline of May 1 to take my hospice and palliative care certification test
First and Foremost... I thank you for what you are going to do. It takes a very special person to do what your are about to do. I lost my mother to cancer, we weren't able to use hospice, however there was 1 nurse that was amazing...she was so gentle and calming not only for my mother but for me as well. I was carrying the load for my dad and my sister that was in the military. My dad handed all of the decision making to me. Without the love, the warmth and kindness from this special person I would have just lost it.
Go take your test...somebody out there needs you.
Hugs and Best Wishes
I am a hospice nurse but do not have the certification yet. It is not required, but I would like to have it. I love my job and am blessed by the people I meet every day
