If your car were to get a flat tire, would you know how to fix the flat?

I was taught long ago, but now I really think I'd either call the car insurance repair guys or call my husband..what would you do?

I know how but would probably call someone. I normally have the kids w/ me & would be scared I didn't do it right or get it on tight enough.

I can chance a tire... BUT the lug nuts are on SO tight now-a-days that I can not change a tire because i can not get them off.

A couple years back I had this issue and was going to show one of my kids how to change a tire.  I even stood on the crowbar and jumped and those dang nuts didnt budge.  I was told by the AAA guy that it is because all the people working on tires have air pressure machines to put those bolts on and take them off.

I would call my husband or triple A.

Am I able to figure out how a jack works and how to remove the lug nuts, of course, a monkey can figure that out if there is a banana as a reward.

Do I want to?

Fuck no... that's why they have triple A

Yes I know how, but unfortunately my neck and shoulders aren't what they used to be. Had a friend get a flat tire a few months ago as we were both leaving the dance studio where our daughters take dance. We tried for 10-15 minutes to get the lug nuts off and couldn't budge a single one of them. We ended up calling the studios owner and asking is she could send her husband to help. She sent her father and husband to help.

I know how to change a tire, my mom taught me how to when I started driving. Now, we pay for roadside assistance through our auto insurance so I just call them.
