1 mom liked this

my youngest has the whole week off but the older two do not.  so I told the youngest that we would bring a friend and drive up the coast stopping at some tide pools, fun beach cities, ride the ferry, and play at a little boardwalk............. but now I see it is supposed to rain all day tomorrow.

bummer!!!

Not sure if we should just go with it and do all the fun stuff wet.  Or if we should try to make another plan.

Just go for the drive and maybe stop at some other places like an ice cream shop etc.

well, I might tell them to dress in something they can get wet.  We can always take a warm shower when we get to my dads (that is where we are spending the night).  I suppose it would be fun at that age to do everythng in the rain.

Could you change your plans, go to the library and explore the kid's section? Then hit Mick D's for exercise in the playroom.

I'd go and drive, chance the weather and improvise as you go along.

they are a bit old for that.... but I think I do need to look for some indoor options.

Kids love to play in the rain puddles and all.  Unless it is a dangerous rain I would go for it.

What I wouldn't give to live where it's warm.  It is 9 degrees and snow flurries.  I'm envious
