I have not gotten any thyroid news back from my bloodwork yet.

i did have a carotid artery screening done today. and the tech said she saw something going on with my thyroid. she will send my results to my dr's office and i should follow up from there.

yikes!

My doc keeps a close watch on my thyroid.  I've been borderline hypothyroid for a long time and he gets me to have blood tests every few months to make sure I haven't gone over that border yet.

Couldn't vote, no appropriate option. I was screened 4 times and finally, found to have high anti-thyroid antibodies, and diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.

I had this and thyroid cancer in 2006. I take thyroid replacement, because I no longer have a thyroid.

my thyroid functioned fine but I had a goiter that only got bigger, a biopsy was undefined. Since my grandmother had thyroid cancer at my exact age, they did surgery and found cancer under the goiter. They tested it to find the cancer and 12 days later I had the other side out, it also had cancer.

Thyroid issues are very common but every case is different
