Han decorated this cake for the school carnival 100% on her own!!
Love it! I think I'm going to try something similar (depending on what kind of gummie/candy I can find) for my 6 year old to decorate. My sister's birthday is coming up and he would love to help decorate the cake. Usually that just means putting on frosting and candles, but this is a great ideal. Very creative!
This cake is way to cute. She did a great job.
that is cute!!!!
Wow ! Good job ! Can I have a bite ?
nice! looks like a fun cake.
What I love about watching kids do this kind of stuff is seeing them put their energy into it and watching their creativity. How cool is that?
A quick story. A few years ago I started making a gingerbread house for Christmas. Older DD was in Iraq, and younger DD home from college. Younger DD said she didn't want to help.
So I got out all the candies and frosting and got into it myself. Suddenly DD says, "I wanna do it!" And she immediately dove in to the point that she wanted to take over. I was secretly delighted.
It reminded me of Tom Sawyer white washing the fence.
Then - we made gingerbread men and decorated them with camouflage BDU frosting in three shades. Those we sent to DD in her care package.
Nice. Can I have a piece?
