Me and my daughter disagree on this. I am an over person. I just think its easier to tear off that way, easier to access. I know, petty petty stuff. Are you an over or under person?

Over. If someone else puts it on (which is rare) and it's under, I HAVE to "fix" it.

I have to have it over.  It tears easier.

When I bothered keeping it on the roll, it was over.... Then I just got to the " can't beat um, join 'em phase and it sit on top of the holder. Hahaha

I got mad at dh one day and hollared through the house "so this is why you keep me around"... I was gathering dirty clothes and saw no TP on the roll in our bathroom. And I FIX it to... (OVER to tear easier of course) family bathroom, someone keeps putting it on wrong. So the question remains, is it better on the holder wrong or not at all... I still hold out hope for my family that they will "get it" and put it on correctly...

Got to be over. Nothing petty about it. It is a serious issue! I will have to turn it owner to use it if it's on wrong. I can't use it if it's upside down.
