I've posted a bit here and there and love the group, you guy always answer my questions when I post and some of the other posts are funny and entertaining, even informative... so here is my question:

Are there any other STEP granma's out there?? That is one of my biggest struggles, want to not feel alone I guess!! Did not raise my sd's, so not really a step parent, they were over 18 when we got together. I just hate that even his family is all "one day you will have grandkids" and I feel like the boys ARE my grandkids... but at the same time I don't feel that I am to be mommy's beck and call babysitter either...lol

so, any one else in my shoes???

Welcome and yes as a matter of fact I am a step grandma to one out of 10 grandchildren and Abby is treated just like my own. She is my daughters husband child and although I dont agree with the situation I will never allow that to hurt my relationship with my sweet girl. Abby calls me grandma like the other kids and we go see her when my DD and SIL have her.
