Would you keep yours home--UPDATE

So, Friday night a student posted on Edmodo that he would be shooting up my sons high school on Monday. Homecoming dance was postponed, and the public has informed the law (its been all over FB and twitter). Got an auto call from the school superintendent who said there will be more officers, dogs and metal detectors tomorrow. Would you send yours to school tomorrow or keep them home.

The law arrested a 15 year old boy in Louisiana (his father turned him in). He sent the same threat to a couple of schools and said it was a joke. Monday only 600 plus kids out of 1600 plus kids went to school.

I have a son that's a freshman, and if this was going on at his school, I'd keep him home.

The same type of thing happened when my youngest was in high school. I kept him home. Can't be too careful.

Keep them home! I would always shy on the side of caution if I suspected my kids safety would be jeopardized.

I'd keep him home. That's scary. Did they arrest the kid?
