 Trick or Treat bag craft:

Supplies: Felt, decorative ribbon, Stitch Witchery, craft knife.

How-To: Place two sheets of felt on top of each other. With a craft knife, cut slits the width of the ribbon around three sides. Starting at the top left corner, weave the ribbon through the slits, and tie ends together to make a strap. Decorate the tote with a Halloween image, such as a black cat, that you've cut from felt, and attach it with Stitch Witchery.

Tricks for Treats Bags

You'll want to tote more than candy in these graphic carryalls. Scan or download a copyright-free image of your choice (find a variety at pdclipart.org), and adjust the size and orientation of the picture to fit your bag. Buy a canvas satchelPrint your selected image on iron-on transfer paper, then iron the transfer — following the package directions — onto the bag. For a distressed effect, do not let the transfer cool completely before peeling it off the fabric.

Note: If your design includes words, be sure to make the letters face the right way on the bag, using a program like Photoshop to flip the letters first.
