Hey wine lovers out there. Oh boy, wait till you see the super fun DIY project I have in store for you.
It all began when David + I started dating. We’re not big party animals (well David used to be, but I think he got tired LOL) but we do enjoy our occasional wine night every now + them, specially when we go to my parents country house in El Valle.
We started collecting our wine corks + unexpectedly we landed ourselves a big pile. When did we drink all those bottles? Times flies. As an irreparable neat freak, I knew I needed to find a crafty project that would help me recycled them + put them to good use. That’s how the light bulb ding donged + this project was born.
Made from sliced wine corks, this DIY Wine Cork Coasters are the perfect way to recycle + reuse an item that you may otherwise just toss in the trash.
For this project you’ll need:
- At least 25 wine corks
- Hot glue gun with glue sticks
- Thin cork paper circles
- A pocket knife
- A cutting board
- Coarse sand paper
step by step
