Haven't read it yet myself (I'm on the waitlst for the ebook at the library), but I've heard great things about The Goldfinch by Donna Tarrt...

Our very own sister of 40ish Bobbie Bandy is a great author. WE love her work and promote her each time a book comes out. You can find her books on Amazon...

I love Wanda Brunsetter and Beverly Lewis. They write Amish romances and are wonderful! I also like Richard Paul Evans...The Christmas Box and many others including a series which starts with The Walk.

My son loves the red wall series. My so likes Nora Roberts, harry turtledove, Louis lamor, sang grey, gr Roberts, Luke Braun. So said read the back of the book and see if it peaks your interest. If it does try it.
