From the Cook book holder post, now how about the books?
If you haven't yet checked out the Cook Book Holder post by ALolies, well you should. Great Idea!
Anyhow, one of the mama's posted a cook book suggesstion. Which gave me the idea of making a new post for cook books.
What are your favorite and or must have or the go to recipe books you own. Have any great cook books you would like to share?
How about the font of the text, what do you prefer, or how it is organized, what do you like, or do you like pictures or hard cover vs soft, glossy or non etc. etc.
I collect cook books of all kind, so when someone says get this "one", I do. And all these things about the font size, images or glossy paper, matter to someone like me who uses them often.
How about you?
I'd seen this but my cookbooks are too thick for such. Hey, if your looking for a good cookbook, try CANE RIVER CUISINE. It's written based in NACHITOCHES, LA where the movie STEEL MAGNOLIAS was filmed. One of the BEST cookbooks EVER. I've had mine since 1980. Amazon has it as I bought 1 for Ex some years ago after in our divorce, I got the original. LOL!
