I am in Eastern Michigan and they had to shut down almost all of the highways Monday night because the flooding was so bad. People were stuck in their vehicles. It was horrid!

The scene at I-696 and I-75, which remains closed this afternoon.

This was from yesterday afternoon...at least the rain has stopped and everyone can start to access the damage.

My sister is in Wading River. She said the rain was falling at a rate of 5 inches an hour. Thankfully she's fine and so is her house.
