I honestly never thought about it until I was an adult. I always assumed that I wouldn't survive to adulthood. When I did, I had to come up with an alternative plan.

Why didn't you think you would survive adulthood?

I kept changing my mind - I still haven't figured out what I want to do when I grow up (if I ever do!)

I wanted to be a music Director and also a Chef... I quit band my senior year in HS due to a fight with my director and blew off an interview with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra which would have gotten me to what I wanted, but... I was 18 and pissy...It also would have taken me away from Heath and that was not acceptable. I would not have the life I have now if I had gone that route.

I *did* become a Chef. I quit 10 years ago to be a SAHM when we went to China to bring Lilly home. I've never looked back.

I was badly abused as a child. I never had the chance to worry about the future because I was so busy worrying about surving day by day.
