Hi Ladies

Have you ever gone on strike and told your family to do it themselves?

Yep. :) Back when I was being a big passive-aggressive baby, I wouldn't say anything, just quit doing stuff. No one noticed and after a few days, I couldn't stand the chaos so I ended up just doing it myself.

These days, if I go on a deliberate and loudly announced strike, DH will come roaring in to fix whatever has gone wrong.

I have also simply announced that I'm no longer going to do "X" for "specific reasons." And then I don't. They can like it or lump it because I'm done.

No.

If things aren't going as I'd like, I say something and work out a solution.  "Going on strike" doesn't really solve anything and just makes everyone unhappy.

Yes just to show my hubby what would happen if I went a day without doing anything around the house.

No but we share household duties pretty equally.

If I did no one would care and it would just make me look silly.

It would only backfire on me if I did.

Not for an extended period of time.... but I've actually been thinking of doing just that. They all just sit and wait for me to do everything. I've been running myself into the ground. Things are going to change. I already told Wyatt that if he hears yelling, it isn't about him.
