I'm sipping on a coffee with a bundle of stuff...I've got some standards...a hem, a missing button, an unraveling seam...and a few more advanced topics...moving a set of eyelets on dh's gym shorts, darting a top.

Do you fix it, modify it....send it out for the professionals....or trash it?

lol.... I am not good at mending. I'd just toss it out and buy a new one. Well, except for buttons. Those I can replace.

I will fix it if it is worth fixing and isn't too complicated. If not, it might find another home, get recycled into something else or tossed.

My mother was a professional tailor for several years and taught me how to sew, mend and modify clothing. It's been a useful skill and one I passed along to my girls.

Depends on what it is. If I really like it I can fix it or I ask one of my cousins. 🙂

I will tighten a button every now and then.  Our kids are still growing so I rarely mend their things.

I do mend. It's something I find relaxing.

If it can be fixed I usually give it to DH to sew or mend. I can't mend or sew. I've tried but my fingers won't cooperate, lol.
