I mainly made sure in the shower it was washed good w/ warm sudy water and then occasionally use ear piercing care solution w/ a cotton swab. but i dont think i have felt a bump. is it visible? aslong as its not painful i think you should be good.
I have one on the lower piercing inside and out. the one inside drains when I clean it and the outside is like a killoid that needs to heal.
I clean it with after care from clairs and it seems fine other then that =) I got mine 12/15
I always get that bump on all my peircings. It's extra scar tissue. Mine usually goes away after it's fone healing and I change out the jewlery. But one time it didn't go away and it grew and grew. I had this huge nasty thing on the back of my ear once and I had to get plastic surgery to get it off. Now I can't peirce my ear lobe on that side anymore.
Either way, just watch it and make sure it doesn't get to big. If so then go to the doctor...espically if it gets rock hard. But if it stays soft-ish and small, then should go away once you've healed and changed out your jelwery. :)

When I first got it done, I did the sea salt soaks.
Now, when I take a shower, I wash it with antibacterial soap.

Just to let you know, keloids don't just heal on their own. You can read about them here.

I've had mine for a few years now and I still have a little bump on the top of my ear. The bump goes down but never completely away. As for cleaning it, I really only cleaned it when I was in the shower. Just ran some warm water over it and twisted it. I used a little seas alt here and there to help with the fluid I had in my ear, but it's healed up really nice :)
