I've had mine done in the corner and the center. It doesn't hurt really at all. Studs tend to catch on your teeth during the swelling period. Hoops you have to go big to allow for swelling. Of course with any healing, they say 6-8 healing. But really in about two weeks all sensitivity is gone and you're back to normal.

no, the only time it hurt is right when I got it done...just kind of a quick, strong pinch...and that was it...and it didn't take too long for it to heal and the swelling didn't last very long for me at all.

the girl who did mine stunk, ended up hurting dont stray from your favorite peircer ever!  mine took 4-6 weeks to heal, NO ORAL SEX or tongue kissing for a long time... cant get it infected so give your boyfriend a nice one before you get it done, and you have to rinse it out alot!

Yes and it didn't hurt really at all. It hurt more when he put the ring in then when he pierced it.

i got mine done in like October. I never took care of it so it got pretty bad. Then in January (the time i was allowed to change the bar) i went and got a different jemelry for it. WOW!! I think my body was rejecting the piercing places jewelry cuz INSTANTLY i felt better and my piercing healed.

anyways, they say it take about 12 weeks till you can change your bars. oh and it didnt hurt. just uncomfy with the pushing pressure.

I know I'm a little late but I thought I'd add my experience for anyone else who wants to know:) I got mine done about 5 weeks ago. It didn't hurt at all and I dont have a high pain tolerance at all! I went back and changed the ring out after 2 weeks, by that time it didn't hurt at all. Mine swelled a tiny bit but not much at all. In the 5 weeks I've had it I've changed the jewelry 4 times and havent had any problems!

I peirced my fiance's lip. He says it doesn't hurt. And it really depends on the person about the healing time. How long do your peircings usually take to heal? I find mine take about the same time to heal. Also if you do get it peirced don't mess with it. Messing with it could knock dirt and bacteria into the hole causing an infection. Any peircing is basically a open wound that needs time to heal.
