Helping Mom fight

Hi! I'm 33 years old and on June 4th of this year, my Mom was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and I have never been so scared in my entire life! She has a tumor but instead of growing up towards her other organs, this one is kind of growing down and out. She did 5 weeks of chemo & radiation and they were successful in shrinking the tumor. We are now waititng for a phone call for surgery to remove the tumor & hopefully repair any damage although we don't know the extent yet we are going in with the knowledge that she will have to have "the bag" put in. After surgery we are looking at another 4 months of chemo (every 2 weeks, 8 treatments) and I am so scared to see my Mom suffer again. We were extremly lucky the first tme, she didn't loose any hair or weight, she was amazing! But the second time around will be worse...

I'm hoping to find somewhere to go where "I'm not alone" and where I can talk to people who are going through or who have been through this and maybe to find some ways to help me cope. I do have an amazing support system here at home but no one has been through this...

Thanks for reading!
