I'm new here and have a question about lymphedema
My name is Donna, 15y breast cancer survior. I have lymphedema and have a question about shots and surgery in the arm with the lymphedema. I've been having pain in my wrist for about 6 months and went to an orthopedic surgeon and he sent me to get an MRI which showed I have a small tear in my wrist ligament. So he sent me to have physical therapy and today I went back to see him for a follow up. Well the physical therapy isn't really doing anything so he gave me a cortizone shot and my arm is tingly. It feels like it's asleep. He said if the pain isn't gone or comes back then I will have to have surgery. I was just wondering if anyone has had something like this done. I'm a little worried cause it's been 4 hrs with the tingaling and I don't know if this is normal.
I'm hoping for any advice or anything.
