This group is for green or trying to be green SAHMs who may or may not cloth diaper, eat organics, practice gentle discipline, do homebirths, may or may not or delay their kids vaccines, etc... Although I understand there is a lot of optional criteria in this group there are two things that are not optional, not circumcising and no CIO (crying it out). I do not agree with circumcising a child for anything other then a TRUE medical need; therefore, I am not allowing women to join if they have circumcised for aestetic reasons or because society does. I consider CIO (crying it out) to be child abuse and I do not and will nto accept any mama who allows their child to cry for hours and hours in a room all alone by themselves until they finally fall asleep from fatigue. That is wrong! Allowing a child to fuss for 5 minutes though is not CIO- as long as the child is not screaming his head off...
