I would love to hear why you started your business with Mary Kay.

To tell you about me.....

My name is Amy Henderson.  I have been using MK products since I was 13 years old because I needed it.  I had been going to the dermatologist when my next door neighbor became a consultant.  She told my Mom, try these products if you like it great if not, I will give you your money back.

Well no dermatologist had every said that, so she said here you are trying this.  And it worked for me.

When I turned 18 years old, I was going off to college and realized I needed to make some extra money because Mom informed me she was cutting me off.  She doesn't remember it that way, but I do and that included my products.  And by then, I was a product junkie and knew I needed to support my habit. 

So I went to a success event with my consultant EVERY week for a month as a guest.  Finally my director stopped me at the door and said, "Amy, we love you but you can't come back unless you sign up"....so I signed.

I am sure you are wondering why it took me so long.  I was SUPER shy when I first started.  I mean, couldn't lead a silent prayer kind of shy.  Would break out in hives if I even thought about speaking in front of people.....and today, I teach consultants every week.  So you really never know what will come out of your starter kit....for me it was self esteem.

Today, I am the proud Director of Henderson's Hotshots.  I never thought this would be my full time career, but I LOVE it.

We have no territories and I have moved my business 5 times and never lost a customer or team member because of it.  And we have no quotas, thank goodness because I wouldn't be here if that had been the case.

I was one that never thought I could sell anything....I quit Girl Scouts because they sold Girl Scout Cookies and I will jump out of a moving vehicle for a Thin Mint!!  But I realized the product sells itself and my job is to build relationships with women and teach them about skin care. 

We are working on finishing our first Cadillac by December 31st.  I know working together, we can do that.  It is really a team effort, your win = our unit win.  You succeed by building others up with you.

This year I was able to walk across stage and pick up a ring for sales. It was the most amazing feeling...ranks up there with my wedding day.  The best part, there is a ring with everyone's name on it, you just have to do the work to earn it.  MK gives Cinderella prizes just for doing your job.

From the shy young girl to now the women that soaks up the spotlight, this business allows you to become the women God intended you to be.

My name is Tiffany Taylor I started my business with MK because I want to stay home with my kids and still have food on the table. :)  This is becoming a big deal with an 11 year old boy with hallow legs to fill. Also I love to help other women see the beauty on the outside that is hidden within. Also I love the fact that it is a christian org so I don't have to worry about compromising my morals just to get a sale. This is a big relief to me and Jimmy Cricket.  :) More about myself I'm mother of 3 ages 11, 2, and 1. I have been married for 4 years to my husband Brent. And I love the MK products!
