Hi there! We have a motor home and we always leave the fridge plugged in. You can leave all the things that don't spoil in it and you won't be running around at the last minute putting all the condiments and stuff in it every time you take it out for a trip. It doesn't eat up a lot of electricity when it's on. Don't forget to store the Hershey's chocolate in there as well! We take ours out every other weekend, if not every weekend, from the Spring until Fall so it's worth it to us to leave the unit plugged in.

I just noticed you're from our favorite place...PA. We go to Hershey every June as soon as school gets out!
