About Domestic Violence Survivors: Power of Being Free
Women of every walk of life, level of education, and spiritual upbringing have experienced abuse from the men that "love" them. This group is for the women who may be currently experiencing abuse, have left the abuser, and are putting their lives back together. Women who have moved on successfully and who may feel helpless can come together through support, sharing of resources and friendship.

Group Guidelines/Participation Tips
Here are our guidelines to the group:
The only thing I ask is that we not attack each other. We are grown women and if something is offensive, just walk away from it.
The only ways to get kicked out of this group are as follows:
1. attacking another member
2. Repeating personal info about another member outside of this group.
3. Blatant and repeated offensive material used in a way to hurt other members.
4. Misidentifying yourself to spy for an abuser or on a member of the group.
5. Making comments such as “the survivors are at fault or deserve the abuse.”
6. Using the group for your own personal and financial gain.
7. if you have more then 10 abuse reports against you you will be banned from the group.
8. using words like you caused the abuser to hit you by causing a fight
9. copyright laws
10. if i have to delete more then 3 posts of yours a day you will be banned from group
