I was just wondering what other names everyone had picked out for their Aidan before they settled for the name Aidan...
My husband and I had always wanted a name with A in the first letter of the first name and J in the second because it was our initals so we first thought Adam Jasper but I couldn't get past the name Aidan because I loved it! So we eventually decided on Aidan Joseph because I loved Aidan and his first name is Joseph. What other names did you have?

Well I wanted the name Brice and my hubby loved the name Michael so we were going with the name Michael Brice But it just didnt sound right with his last name so we were doing some heritage background and seen the name Aiden. We both fell in love with it so our lil joy to be is Aiden Michael.

Well we try to stick with Scottish, Celtic, Irish or English names somewhere in their names. My hubby is very big on his scottish heritage. Aidan was actually our 3rd choice, orginially it was to be Keegan Michael or Garret Matthew, but only I liked Keegan and only he liked Garret so we went looking for another name that we both liked and Aidan just felt right, we were like hes gonna be a handful(pregnancy he was constantly just a pain in there) and he was even born early so we were like yep firey Aidan it is.

I never had any other boy names picked out. I loved the name when My husband mentioned it. The name I had picked out if I was having a girl would of been Lillith Ann.... We would of called her Lilly for short.

For as long as I can remember I always said my son was going to be Aidan Patrick (thank goodness I married a fellow Irishman)! My husband also liked Connor David, but Aidan was our favorite.
We named our daughter Kiera Grace because if she was a boy we were going to name her Ciaran(Kieran). We loved that name so much we just left off the "n" and gave her the feminine form of it. We used the traditional spelling because if we spelled it the Irish way-Ciara-we'd have to spend the rest of our lives telling people her name was not pronounced "see-ar-uh"!

of course another norwegian name...... Aricin! And most any middle name we pick spells something becasue our last name starts with an E so Aiden's name is Aiden Colby and his initials spell ACE. i'm thankful we can call him ACE when he's school age due to the popularity of the name.

We thought about Camden, I really liked it. But in the end, Aiden won!
