It's that time of year again! Wondering, do you get hubby gifts for Christmas? Do you get him what HE wants, or ... do you get what you want him to have that he has previously asked for?? I NEVER get what i want!! Most of the time, it's always better! BUT ... I want simple things like book store gift cards, sewing stuff .. things like that ... a nice necklace with a locket ... I always get other stuff .. hubby says I can get that stuff myself...
SO ... how do you handle gifts for your hubby or SO? What in the world do you buy after so many birthdays and father's days and anniversaries together anyway!!!

My husband pretty much gets what he wants. I do too though, we basically just go shopping together and buy stuff - so we already know what we're getting for Christmas.
My hubby likes movies and games so he usually gets DVD's, video games and maybe a new game system for Christmas. I always throw in the usual clothes items too like jeans, socks, sweaters and T-shirts...that kinda stuff. He always seems to need it. He likes tools too but I make him buy those himself, I wouldn't know what to buy.
I am ready to *ahem* dismember my DH right now over this :) Like most DH's he is soooo hard to buy for! He's a pretty content guy and doesn't pine over much. Well, except a motorcylce, but there is no way in hell he is getting a cycle for Christmas. Maybe when he becomes Bill Gates....
Anyhow, I recenlty ruined his netbook (don't ask it involves me and a tragic laundry accident) and I want to get him a new one for Christmas. I budgeted for it, researched it, picked it out and all that good stuff and now he says he is going to buy one because he has to pick out the perfect one (he's some kind of software guru--so he has all these needs and runs his own operating system and blah blah blah). SOOOO what does he do. Gets his own damn netbook.
He did that last year with a camera.
Ugh. The man is getting socks for Christmas.
hi, new on this so bear with me...
now adays most of the married couple i know like the video games. PS3 its a winner for me. its a combination of blue ray dvd player and game system. so pretty much 2 system for the price of one. and about games the latest one is world at war 2 its an awesome game. a lots of violence thoug if you have little ones. i like it myself lol.
My husband is a Yankee fan. I started a tradition of buying unique baseballs with Yankees on it. Last year was a wooden one, this year a crystal one. He likes to read a lot. So I listen to see the current book he is looking for and buy them on Amazon. Other then that I keep it simple, get things he needs in our price range. He is also an artist so I listen for the new "fab" thing he has to have and see if it is affordable and get it.
