Pets and Christmas

Do you buy your pets gifts for Christmas?  Do you put them under the tree? 

 

We have 2 cats and my 6yo daughter wants to buy them each a Christmas gift.  Just curious if anyone else buys their pets Christams gifts.

oh my, OH YES, you should see how many we have wrapped up for our new little kitty, his first xmas, his first snow,,,,i cannot believe my daughter, she has gone crazy! and for my husband who does not care for a cat,, he bought a pile too, MEN!

That is too cute :o)  I think I am going to take her this weekend and let them get the cats a few gifts.

We do! Or should I say my husband does. :)

They normally get a new bone and some sort of toy. BUT we can't put them out until the morning of because they are nosey and would tear the gifts up trying to get to it.

we bought kitty a new bed  but he HATES IT,my daughter wrapped it up and said, do not worry, do not take it back,, i will make him like it xmas morning, ha ha, one day we bought him a new dish for his food, well he went on a hunger strike for 3 days meowing constantly, till i figured it out, i put his old dish back, and he went back to eating, so about the bed, good luck daughter!

I was amazed how picky our kitties are.  We have one that if she doesn't get to come in the door first, she will not come in.  She will sit outside until the othe cat comes out and then she will come in.  

Our cats like laying in boxes, so I think I will wait and just let them have the boxes after the kids open gifts.  I think we will just stick with a few new toys.

I got a mental picture of a dog trying to get his bone unwrapped.  LOL.
