pros, i reconnected with my old middle school, high school and college friends as well as some distant and overseas family.  Cons, some ex-boyfriends came out of the woodwork too!  LOL

Pros: I connected with friends I haven't spoken to in a very long time.

I Haven't been on long enough to have found any cons yet.

pros-able to reconnect with people you cannot see often, have not seen in years etc

I have been able to reconnect with friends from my childhood who I haven't seen in 15 years, friends from college who I don't get to see often enough. it was the easiest way for DH and I to communicate while he was deployed (FB chat) and he could see pics of our DD, etc.  It's what you make of it.  As long as you don't get wrapped up in the drama (although I won't lie, it's a guilty pleasure to read about other people's drama sometimes - it's better than the gossip mags!), it's a nice way to stay in touch.

I used to use face book but no more. I loved having my friends all on there.. but a major con is the rest of the people out there. I didnt need the drama of it all. Some people dont understand the importance of keeping some parts of your life private.

I love FB and Twitter both!

Only real downside is creepy cyber-stalkers on FB.  I only friend someone if I actually know them.  And even if i actually know you, and you haven't said anything in 6mths?  That qualifies you for "creepy silent stalker" and you get deleted.  Screw that craziness.  Pics of Bella are all over my FB!

Now, Twitter, tho', I have over 400 followers there.  LOL  That's just Twitter, tho.  Not loaded up with baby pics, you know?
