Former
brat, former
wife, And Future
Mom.
I have 2 now my oldest daughter turned 13 yesterday...she is in the 7th grade and is in the school band. My son is 14 and he is an honor student as well, he will be taking college classes next year when he is a sophomore.
I have a 10 1/2 year old going on 16, does that count? lol...
Seriously, I call her my "Surly Teenager" because she sure acts like it!

Loving wife to: Leigh since July 4th, 1998. Loving Mommy to: Kayla Cheyanne since June 3rd, 1999 ~ Madison Nicole since October 29th, 2000 ~ Angelina Michelle since November 14th, 2001 ~ Kiara Grace since November 12th, 2002 ~ Kaden Alexxander since July 24th, 2008
Not yet....but SOON....lol. I have a 12 year ds who is ready to become one officially in November. He has read the book about becoming and ape (when you turn 13) and is appropriately afraid and intrigued by his new "label"...
I also have a dd who just turned 8 who has "precocious puberty" and therefore has been advancing at an unbelievable rate in size, physical and intellectual maturity. Too bad that also means she has arrived much earlier at the emotional rampage that is all things hormones. Until my hysterectomy in October, and she has kept the same rhythm since, I have watched her PMS emotionally with me since she was around 5 or 6. Bleh.
So, no teenagers just yet....but seriously....I have taken my fair share of what is to come and just hope the second "toddler phase" isn't too rough on us all. :)

17 year old DD that is a Jr. in high school, she is on the drill team, doing flags and banners she is also VERY active at our church, she is currently directing and starring in our church Easter play. We just experienced a horrible break-up with her, got a phone call from her boyfriends other girlfriends mom....yeah you read that right, her boyfriend was two timing her, for months....thankfully my daughter has enough respectful for herself to break it off, sadly the other girl didn't, which oddly breaks my heart for her!! This was only her 2nd boyfriend.
16 year old DD that is a sophmore in high school, she is also in the drill team, doing flags and banners, and very active in our church, she is my more outgoing child. She is MUCH more like me, very outgoing and opinionated.....LOL

One: DD will be 15th in April and she is already starting to rebel. She is into emo skater chic stuff, never wants to come out of her room when she's here, won't help with daily chores, and is struggling in school.
We have three more girls and I hope they aren't as rebellious as she is when they get older, lol.
If you have a child or chilren who suffer with Laryngeal Cleft or aspiration, come join my group on CafeMom! Discuss the ups and downs of everyday life, or fears about upcoming testing. I would Love to meet other families who are going through this as well.
My oldest son will be 16 in July. He's into skateboarding and hanging out with his friends. He gets decent grades, but nothing to write home about. He's always been like that. He's a smart kid, he just doesn't apply himself. He lives in Jersey with his dad (I'm in Georgia). I miss him so much. I haven't seen him since Thanksgiving.

This sounds like my son. He turned 15 in January. Stupid me, I got him a laptop for his birthday, now he only leaves his room to eat, watch TV or harrass his brothers. And, needless to say, he's NOT using his computer for schoolwork. I wonder how he's even going to pass this year...
