Hi girls!!!
Ok here's a question for you. My 22 month old will NOT stay in his crib anymore, but I am worried about sticking him in a toddler bed just yet. He is my last of 5 kids, and I have never had any of them do this! LOL
I found a picture of a 'tent like thing' that goes over the top of the crib to secure them in. Has anyone used one of these? How do they work, or does anyone have any other suggestions??
I'm more worried about him getting his leg caught or hitting his head, or his neck. Just don't want him to get hurt.
THANKS!
Lesley
Personally, I think its time to transition to a big bed. I wouldn't waste your $$ on the tent when he won't be in the crib much longer.
Great point!!! I know, i'm struggling with the, do I just go buy a new bed...........LOL
At least I know that if he gets out, he won't have a big crash to the ground. I can deal with putting him back in, until he learns, just don't want to have to deal with the hurting himself.
thanks!
When our kids got to that point we just put them in the toddler bed and gated the doorway so they couldn't keep coming out. I've seen the tents too, and I think they'd be good if you had maybe a daring 10 month old who was climbing out, but a 22 month old is definitely old enough to try the toddler bed.
My 4th just made it to 24 months and would be out before I could leave the room. We moved him to a toddler bed. TOddler proofed his room, and I got a door knob thing so that he can't open it (he can unlock all my household doors).
