Any Barbie Lovin' Mommies? Did I score at Goodwill today?
Today I got this: Awesome Sears and Roebuck Barbie Kitchen Set...
BUT
it DOES NOT have any date on it... I think it is vintage... I know it's old... but I would just like to know what I have...
I'm such a Barbie hoarder... If it is old especially I pick it up...
So anyway... if you think you know how old this is... I would love to know...
All the knobs turn, and doors open... only one flaw... the fridge door on the right is broke but taped on... when you open the doors you see pictures of older brands of food...
All the food and stuff thrown on it is mine... it didn't come with any of the food it was supposed to come with...
Did any of you have one of these when you were little?

It was made by Sears for Barbie, however, it is not a Mattel product. That is why it does not say Barbie. It appears in the Sears 1981 Christmas catalog. No manufacturer is given, but could be Empire.

Hey, if you don't mind... how did you get this info? I googled everything and couldn't find it...
Just curious? Thanks!

After a bit of research I found it by google. It took a while though. I even say another pic of it. The article did say it was not quite to scale for Barbie.
I actually collect Coca-Cola memorbilia, machines, cast iron cars, ice pics, antiques, etc...not bottles. Anyway, the reason I started researching your pic was because I didn't think it was authentic Barbie, as it did not say Barbie anywhere. I learned of this when I started collecting Coca-Cola. Some things are marketed to look authentic but if they don't actually say Coca-Cola, they are not.

Yeah, i knew it wasn't for Barbie by mattel but I still love it... I guess I'm a collector of miniatures and such... not necessarily just barbie but any brand.. It's like my obsession since childhood and I've passed it on my kid...
