Grandparent Names: What do your kids use?

My son can't say the names of his paternal grandparents yet and I know they feel shafted b/c he has been saying my parent's names since he was 12 months old. I'm considering offering them some new choices if they are open to it.

My Mom is "Nama" pronounced Namma

My Dad is "Papa"

DH's Mom is "Granny Annie" She picked it out, but he can't say it or even part of it.

DH's Dad is "Grandpa Bill" We just started referring to him as Grandpa Bill. Of course, DS can't say that one either

Just out of curiosity, what do your kids call their grandparents?

well when my older son was smaller he would call his grandpas "k-pa" for some reason lol.  i do not know where the K came from.  but now both my kids just use good old grandma and grandpa.  when i was younger and lived in the south we use to call our grandma "mah maw"  and grandpa "pah paw".  its weird but i think its cool haha!

My mom is Mema, my dad is Pap, my MIL is Nonna, and my FIL is Pappy.  Short, sweet, and simple but my boys are older now and I really have no idea how old they were before they were able to say the names easily.

My parents are Grandma and Poppy

My husband's parents are Granny and Granda. They live in Ireland, my husband calls his father "da" so that's where the "granda" comes from.
